If you handle a lot number of Production Orders you have to finish them one by one or selected Page Change Status. But to be sure, that everything is ok and all postings are done complete and propper, you have to check one by one. You have to check the Component Consumption and Capacity Registrations. This could be difficult and you have to select of different pages and informations. The new functionality lists all Released Production Orders with their Lines and Components and Routings in one page.
Search for Page Overview Production Orders ready to finish
Or via the “BE-Manufacturing” role center under Tasks:
The Page Overview Released Production Orders is opened. All selected Released Production Orders are listed. The Structure of the Listed Orders are:
On the Top of the Page you can select Filters: - Item No. - Due Date - Location Code - Line Type (Warning)
Every Line is marked "Ready to Finish"
If the mark = Yes --> green colour for the line, otherwise = red.
For Each Line Type the definition is different, depend if it is Component or Routing.
From the Beginning every Line is set as "Ready to Finish" and than some datas are checked and probably sets the line as *NOT Ready to Finish.
What could be the reason for a Components that needs attation before finishing?
To see the available inventory of the component, click on the content of the Available Inventory colum (Drill Down). The page
Bin Content List appears.
Time Consumption (Capcity Ledger Entry) is existing, iF Flushing Method = Manuel and minimum 1 Capacity Ledger Entry exist
All Lines are checked and marked. If there is one line not **Ready to Finish" than the Production Order Line and the Production Order Header is marked as "Not" Ready to Finish. But this is only a check, you can change Status = Finished if you want to do it.
From the Menu you can select: - Change Status (to Finish selected Production Orders) - Update Lines (Calculates the Page and checked fields) - Open Production Order Card (to Check or Change or Register Data) - Open Excel
If there are a large number of released production orders in Business Central, it takes a long time to set up the “Overview Released Production Orders” page. The “Production order control setup” page is available for this purpose

You can predefine the following filters in the setup lines
Click on “Start production control” to calculate the “Overview Released Production Orders” page with the specified filter and the selected line.
