Item attributes are a great opportunity to specify items with additional characteristics besides typical master data information. Many of those information can be important for production processes but item attributes are not available in the production area of Business Central Base App. Attributes are only available in the item card and list. There already exists a standard FactBox which displays the item attributes.
The FactBox "Item Attributes" is required for several pages in the production area: - Production Order (only if the source type is an item) - Production Order Lines - Production Order Components - BET MFG Production Order Wksh. (5140460, Worksheet) - BET MFG Prod. Order Line Wksh. (5140459, Worksheet) - BET MFG PO Comp. Wksh. (5140457, Worksheet)
Attributes needs to be set up for Items with Item Attributes.
When creating a new Production Order and refreshing it, the Item Attributes are shown in the new Item Attributes FactBox as follows:
